Primary Care Appointments

We offer a suite of telehealth primary care services, also available in person,  supported by top-of-the-line technology and partnerships. We have an industry-leading team of physicians and support staff who value affordable care and consistent communication.

Put short; we are here to make sure you receive the care you need when you need it.

Prepare For Your Visit

Once scheduled for a telehealth consultation, please enter the virtual waiting room at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Be present with a computer, tablet, or smartphone for a live visit to discuss your health history.

What to Expect

Before or during the appointment, our providers will have access to your medical history, lab, and other test results through the use of secure technology. Once scheduled, you can leverage our telehealth services which are real-time, remote, face-to-face health care video encounters to assess and evaluate your health situation.

Explain Your Symptoms

Once connected to the video visit, you and your physician will have a face-to-face conversation where you can explain your symptoms.

Receive Diagnosis and Treatment Plans

After reviewing your clinical information and listening to your current symptoms, our physicians will provide a comprehensive treatment plan.

Specialist Referrals

Treatment plans may require additional testing or visiting a specialist, some of which can be done on-site at an Altos Health facility. Testing that can not be done at one of our facilities will be completed through a specialist referral in an expedited manner. All results can be viewed through our electronic medical record (EMR) portal.

Tips for a Successful Telehealth Visit

1. Position your camera correctly - place it at eye level so your head and shoulders are fully visible

2. Test out your webcam

3. Make sure your volume is on and test your microphone

4. Ensure your connection is strong - be it internet or a mobile service signal

5. Plug in your computer or mobile device to avoid running out of battery during the call

6. Close unnecessary programs on your device

7. Dress appropriately

8. Find a quiet space where you are unlikely to be interrupted during the visit - do NOT attempt to conduct your virtual visit while driving

9. Be sure you have good lighting - use overhead lights and block lights from windows, which can cause glare
